  2. Awesome! I heard on stitching n' junk you were getting into lace making and it grabbed my attention. I'm currently taking classes! Your lace looks like it was needle lace- is that right? I'm learning bobbin lace but would like to learn both!

    Feminizzle- I tried to take a class at the local lace guild, but I couldn't get anyone there to respond to my emails. :( I'd love to learn bobbin lace. You're right, this was all done "in the air" with a needle and thread.

  5. I've noticed lace guilds tend to be some older ladies who aren't so techno-savvy. Most people I know here who do tapestry, needlepoint, lace, and embroidery don't even have websites for their work! That's a shame that you can't get ahold of them because I'm sure you would do some pretty amazing things! MORE amazing things, anyway :)

    I am also studing more about needlelace.
    It is a beautiful technique.
    I don't find it very difficult but it can be really time consuming!
